I need your help......

Hey one more post and then im done....for nowSo those of you who really know me, know how very passionate i am on certain things and when that happens nothing can hold me back. Well buckle up because i just found something to really be passionate about and to dig in and get your hands dirty. I was blessed to go and hear Christine Caine speak at our women's retreat and she really opened our eyes about something horrific that is going on and we need to each start doing something about this. I want you to watch this video and i hope it impacts you the way it did me, perhaps enough to go to the website and find a way to help. I dont want anybody to think that they can't really make an impact because that is so very untrue and the enemy wants you to believe that! So please watch and then pray about how you can be used in this fight.Thank you

Hello again!

Hey to all,
So I have done quite poorly in keeping up with my blog.....life has been the busiest we have ever experienced and I have just haven't had the time on the computer I once had so I apologize for that! I am absolutely thrilled that summer is just around the corner and our little family is ready to take off and have fun! Gav is soooooo BEYOND ready to get out of school and I am soooo beyond ready for absolutely no school schedule! WOOT!! Lol Ella Bella is loving all the time outside and is reminding me so much of myself when i was about her age. She is my little dirt digger, tree climber, mud cake maker explorer. We recently had to pull a 3/4 inch splinter out of her foot, blech! My mother reminded me of the time i came home after trying to climb over a fence with both knees full of splinters......i suppose it is coming around on me now! HA! Usually Ella and her best friend Kiki come in looking like they were just rolling in mounds of dirt....which i dont doubt they have been! :)
Gav's last t-ball game was today and he did really well, he sure does love to play although he doesnt always enjoy the running. ;) He has really become interested in sports here lately and is even wanting to get into basketball next year! We were a bit suprised with this new interest since he has never really shown any interest in sports (ie- basketball, baseball, tennis, football, etc.) since Jeff and I are not really "sportsy" kind of people. We do however get excited over the x-games and desert racing. Now THAT thrills us! So I had always had high hopes gav would get into something like that! Lol Ah well, i love him just the way he is....whatever he loves I will love it to! I can't believe that this summer I will become the mother of a seven year old and a three year old....kind of makes me feel like im getting old. I will be turning 26 yrs. old next month and Im starting to feel kind of like a grownup....well kind of. ;) Perhaps that is why my hair is back to blue!
Love you all and have a great summer....i will try and write more!
I will post some pics later when i have a bit more time!

M.I.A.

Sooooooooo......I have been M.I.A. for awhile now so I decided to post some updates because who knows with Christmas week fast approaching when I will be able to again! :)

So...um...wow...crazy times i tell you! Lol
Well to start off Jeff and I have been....well you guessed it, busy. Business has been BOOMING!

We are BEYOND thrilled! Jeff and I have been working on sign orders every night, staying up anywhere from 1 am - 3 am! We are a bit weary but very thankful! I have to say that we absolutely feel blessed, BLESSED to be able to do this! God is such an amazing God, such a mighty God! It amazes me that he placed this into our lives....WOW! Just another way to remind me how good He is and how much He wants to bless His beloved children! :)

Some of what we have been doing! :)

The kiddos are both doing very well right now and both are very excited for Christmas of course! Ella came up to me the other day and informed me she loved "Boobies" HA! I kid you not...i sat there and stared at her for a minute trying to figure out what she was trying to say....so i asked her to repeat herself and she replied "I want Boobies for Christmas Mom!" Lol

That is when it hit me....BARBIES! HA! Ella can talk really well and has been speaking in complete sentences for quite awhile now but there are still some words that we have to try and figure out what she is saying! I love two year old talk....it is hilarious! I couldn't WAIT for Jeff to get home that evening to inform him what his daughter said she loved....and watch the color drain out of his face! HA! Lol

My sweet Ella Lyric Ella and poor Pita...do you see the terror in
her eyes? Lol
Jeff and I decided to take the kids out to the movie theater to see Madagascar 2 (cute and funny) this evening which turned out to be a very chilly experience. We do not go to our local movie theater very often....but tonight we decided to give it a go. We ended up bonding very well because i swear it was atleast 55 - 60 degrees in there! We all huddled together for warmth! Lol Gavin and my niece Maddi had to sit together in one chair and we wrapped Jeff's jacket around them and Jeff snuggled with Ella while i got to hold the box of cold drinks and snacks and freeze.

Gavin had his Christmas program the other night and did wonderful! Last year he was so nervous and embarrassed that he spent the entire time looking at his friend Ethan instead of out into the audience and talking to him instead of singing. This year he was a pro! Lol It was called a Cowboy Christmas so he had to dress the part (which he loved) but when he came out with his boots and his Cowboy hat on he proudly announced that he looked "gangsta" Lol, Ah my son...I have no idea where he gets these things! He sure does know how to make me laugh though!

Gavin looking "gangsta" Ella adores her brother

Oh how i love those two!

So that is life right now.....signs, busy, boobies, late nights and good times. I love every minute of it! :)
Romans 10 : 17 Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God
( That is good right there....so very true.) Goodnight and i love you all~

Above and Beyond!

Sooooooooooooo, life has been in one word.....crazy. You will more than likely hear me use that one word to describe our life because it is crazy. Seems to be the best word to sum up the good, the bad and the busy. (Mostly good and busy)

This weekend gave me a rollercoaster of emotions but mostly made me realize just how blessed I really am! I always hear stories about how awful other people's inlaws are.....but I dont have any of those stories, in fact it is completly the opposite. God has blessed me with the honor of getting to be a part of one of the most amazing families ever! Friday and Saturday really placed that in my heart!

My family and I spent the evening with my sister in law and her family....we really just sat around, talked, laughed, ate, talked, laughed, ate HOMEADE pumpkin pie (not the icky store kind, we are talking straight from the pumpkin HOMEADE by my awesome sis in law) and enjoyed each other. I realized how blessed I am....I mean we are talking Eph. 3:20...those of you who know me BETTER NOT HAVE TO LOOK THAT UP!!! Lol just teasing....this is ONE of my absolute favorite bible verses (I have quite a few)

Ephesians 3:20-21

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.

When i think of being blessed this is one of the verses that pops in my head....exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.....that is blessed!

anyhow to my in laws...thank you for being such an incredible blessing in my life, thank you for accepting and loving me as crazy and wierd as i am, thank you for making such an awesome impact in my life, thank you for being you! I love you all above and beyond! You are my blessings! I am so fortunate to have such an incredible family!

Here are some pics of the weekend.....love you all!

A very good day!

Today has been a great day, it didnt start out that way but it turned around!!

First things first, crazy how i posted that blog last night because I am so beyond thrilled to announce that Pita is BACK!!! A lady called me today and said she thought she had my dog and wanted to give her back! The crazy part in all of this is Pita was only about a 1/2 block away! Seriously??? Ah well, she is back and I am a very happy momma!! :) It is crazy how things happen when you really just surrender them to God and allow him to work His wonders....even over a silly ole dog.

Then on top of that the Bassett Hound that we have been trying to find a home for (thanks to Darren) has found a home!! She was a very sweet old dog and I am sad to let her go but it was time! Not very important to any of you but a HUGE relief to Jeff and I!!!

Anyhow Jeff and I are very happy tonight and feel quite a bit of relief!

The kiddos and I went to the park today to soak up the last bit of Summer/Fall??? sun we have been blessed with lately. Sigh. It was just a very good day! Come on Jesus! :)
